Rezultate Romanian Open 2010



European Championships, Spain 2010


On 5-6th of June Logrono (Spain) hosted the Kyokushin European Championships for Juniors and Seniors.

The Romanian National Team came home with excellent results: 6 medals (one gold and five bronze), three other placements in top 8 at kumite and three placements in top 8 at kata.

C.S. Kyospirit Cluj-Napoca was represented by:  Mihai Cîmpian in the junior competition, Marius Mîndruțău in the senior competition and international referee sempai Vlad Pop. (more…)

National Team Training, Oradea 2010


The preparations for the European Championships in June are slowly coming to an end. This weekend, the fighters from C.S. Kyospirit, Mihai Cîmpian and Marius Mîndruțău, trained with the other members of the national team in Oradea.

The training sessions were specific to the kyokushin competition. All fighters proved they are in great shape and the national team coach, sensei Harris Wallmen, declared he is satisfied with everyone’s progress so far.

Seniors National Championship, Deva 2010


Saturday, 24th of April 2010, the National Championship for Seniors took place in Deva. Our dojo was represented by 13 fighters and 2 referees, managing to win 9 medals: 1 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze, as well as a few placements in the top 5-8 fighters in various weight categories.

This year’s competition was a highly disputed one, with almost 200 participants. It was the first time that the Romanian Kyokushin Federation held a national championship in Deva. The competition’s organization was top notch and the crowd was rather numerous and enthusiastic. (more…)

Children, Cadets and Juniors National Championship, Bistrița 2010


On March 13th the city of Bistrița hosted the Children, Cadets and Juniors National Championship. Over 130 participants, from 11 clubs from all over the country, fought for the title of national champion.

C.S. Kyospirit Cluj-Napoca participated with five competitors and two referees, obtaining very good results in both kata and kumite competitions. Overall, our club came back with seven medals(2 gold, 3 silver and two bronze) and also a classification in the first five competitors.
